Stranger Things Netflix Promotion

Manufacturing and installing the massive 12 metre long Demogorgon claw hand around a billboard in central London was a challenging job! I was a part of the team that hand-carved the claw from high density polystyrene in 12 sections. Each section was covered in epoxy, textured and painted.

On site we assembled the parts and attached them to a purpose built scaffold structure. During the build I worked up a scaffold tower filling and painting the joins. Once the claw hand was assembled we then worked to dress the set as a pumpkin field. We completed the whole installation in just over two days.
