About
About me

I have more than 20 years of experience working as a prop modeller and sculptor working for the film, television, theatre, promotional and events industries. I have worked on a very wide variety of projects ranging in scale from hero hand props for films, to enormous centrepieces for sell out events at venues such as Wembley Arena. Based close to Gatwick in Surrey I have excellent transport links to London and the South East.
At the start of my career I was extremely lucky to have my first work experience in the film industry working on Harry Potter The Chamber of Secrets in the props department. Since then I have gone on to have some amazing jobs working on productions such as Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Snow White, Mission Impossible, The Marvels, The Witches, The Secret Garden, The Da Vinci Code, Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy to name a few. I have also worked on a wide range promotional jobs for The Horror Channel, Sky GOT, Netflix Stranger Things.

I work independently or as part of a team to create, fabricate and finish wow-factor products that transform 2D concepts into a 3D reality. I am also happy coordinating and managing a team, working to produce high quality outcomes.

As a highly skilled and capable maker I am confident working with a very wide range of materials, techniques and equipment including; sculpting, model making, mouldmaking, casting, fabricating, painting, finishing, upholstery, leather work, set building and dressing, life casting, CAD CAM including CNC equipment, working with timber and associated machinery, metal working including welding (Qualified to British Standards).

I have leadership experience working within education. I am an experienced teacher and have taught Design and Technology and Product Design up to Advanced Level. I have an excellent understanding of health and safety in the workshop, as well as First Aid at Work qualifications.

I love a challenge and I am passionate about creatively realising project briefs and creating a sense of wonder and magic when the end projects are delivered.
